Our recent releases have had roots in Norway (our Kveik Pale Ale), and in Germany (our Strawberry Rhubarb Gose), and now we continue our European tour!
Our newest release is a Belgian Table Beer. It’s our version of a classic working-person’s beer, long favoured by farmers and brewers alike as a sessionable brew after a long day at work. With coriander, lemon peel and Belgian Ardennes yeast, it is rich in flavour and very approachable (4.5 ABV and 25 IBU). You might think of it as the Belgian mate of our award-winning English Ordinary Bitter!
To mark the release and complement the new beer’s flavours, our kitchen is cooking up stoemp, a classic dish of Belgium. The dish is pork and beef meatballs braised in our Belgian Table Beer and served on a bed of mashed potatoes and leek (that’s the stoemp).
We release the new beer on tap when we open at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 7,, so gather with us for a taste.
